Sematary & Haunted Mound: Death’s Wagon Tour - Live In Denver, Co
Written and Shot by Warren SnyderOn the night of July 23rd, 2025, walking into the venue of the former cabaret now known as Cervantes Ballroom’s extension, respectfully named the Other Side, I was greeted with an incredibly dimmed environment, featuring candles, a skinned corpse lying on a chair on the setup within the stage, and hazy witchhouse instrumentals.
Looking into what would be in store for me regarding the event, I was deeply interested in the sets from all members of Sematary’s “Haunted Mound” collective.
The night began with a DJ set from Anvil, playing tracks with underground newcomers and legends such as Black Kray, Nettspend, XavierSoBased, SmokeDope2016 and more, giving the crowd an excellent warm up to the upcoming energy within the night.
Following Anvil’s set, Hackle took the stage with intense strobes, deep, distorted, yet energizing vocals with repetitive tags throughout the night.
“HAUNT-O-HOLIXXX YOU BASTARDS!”
“REAL. HAUNTED. MOUND.”
“Hackle down on em”
It was evident that the crowd for this show was incredibly engaged as far as it went with supporting the artists within the collective, it was non-stop energy between sets.
Ghost Mountain, the returning member after a brief hiatus from the group took the stage next. His set featured classics from Sematary’s collaborative album between the two, Grave House, along with new tracks from his recent album, October Country, a massive contender in my albums of the year.
Sematary was next to take the stage with all of the Haunted Mound members on stage, featuring classics from all albums, tapes, making it a memorable night for the fans.
Here are the photos from the night, shot by Warren Snyder.
