Quannnic & Kmoe - Warbrained Tour - Live In Denver, CO
Written and Shot By Warren Snyder. After releasing their album, “Warbrained” under deadAir’s ever-growing catalogue, shoegaze phenom Quannnic took a 21 date tour playing songs with energetic riffs, melancholy sonics, and a legendary performance when I captured the event at Globe Hall in Denver, CO.
Kmoe took the stage on his first ever tour and stop in Denver, CO, performing tracks off of his new record, “K1” such as Dumpster Fire, a personal and fan favorite. His performance was nothing short of excellence, featuring brash and dynamic vocals, it's no doubt Kmoe is an opening act to keep your eyes on within the next few months.
Quannnic then took to the stage after speaking with him backstage on recent performances between Smokedope2016 bringing fans onto the stage at multiple North America show dates, t-shirts Quannnic and Kmoe purchased on previous stops featuring a “Insert Cheesy Bread” graphic, making me ask on who sold those shirts.
Quannnic’s set featured a select set of tracks from their most recent project, “Warbrained”, a chaotic, intense, shoegaze record released on August 22nd, along with earlier classics featuring hit song, “life imitates life” on the 2022 record, “kenopsia”. It was shown without a doubt Quannnic is incredibly dedicated to the craft of creating, performing, and sharing their art along with taking full pride in it, and rightfully so.
Here are the photos from the night of the event:
