Thundercat - Live in Denver, Co -

Written and Shot by Warren Snyder.

Entering the historic venue of the Fillmore Auditorium with the glimmering LED marquee and artisanal chandeliers hanging overhead, it was a pleasure capturing the 2x Grammy Award winning, self proclaimed “goth hoochie daddy” Thundercat’s show with his dreamy bass lines, blending themes of his love for anime, the TV show “Thundercats”, of which he got his name, and expression within himself filled with childlike wonder, humor, and joy.

Playing groovy hits such as “Black Qualls”, along with duels between his band’s drummer while Stephen expresses his craft on his custom bass.

Bruner put on a performance with more mellow vocals on tracks from his 2017 body of work, “Drunk”, featuring played tracks such as “Lava Lamp”, with vocals, coming of age bass, hazy synths, and drums that bind excellently with the combined parts between the band.

Here’s some key moments of the night, captured by Warren Snyder.
