Bleood turns Denver into a Cathedral of Strobes For His Protagonist Tour

Written by Brandon Romero - Shot By Warren Snyder

Bleood, the 21-year-old artist and Humaine Magazine Issue 2 Volume One Star, known for his unique and abrasive music, his gory and dark style, and his boundary-pushing sound, recently brought his Protagonist tour to Denver, CO. Following the release of PROTAGONIST, a nine-track project, the artist continues to prove why they are one of the most talked-about names in the underground rap scene.

Also referred to as M4ri and Deffic1le, Bleood has spent the past 39 days performing across a number of cities, beginning in Orlando, FL, and concluding in Portland, OR. The tour has drawn thousands of fans eager to experience the artist’s crazy sound and energetic performances.

Warren, Colton, and I covered the Denver stop of the tour for Humaine Magazine, capturing the atmosphere surrounding one of the most anticipated shows under Cervantes’ extension’s chandeliers.

Arriving at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, the energy was immediately noticeable. Fans filled the venue wearing homemade bloodied-style pants and clothing, showing off their love for Bleood, recording TikToks, meeting new people, and discussing their favorite songs. The crowd reflected exactly what makes his music so different—a passionate community brought together by a shared love for rage.

Entering the venue was an experience in itself. The room was packed long before Bleood appeared. As the lights dimmed and the opening notes of “girl u drive me crazy i might crash” blasted through the speakers, the crowd screamed. Fans pushed toward the stage, eager to jump and mosh in the crowd.

The performance was nothing short of wicked.

Bleood delivered a set filled with fan favorites, new releases, and old gems. The production featured an insane red and white lighting backdrop with synchronized lighting, Flashbang-like brightness, and immersive visuals that amplified every beat drop and lyric. After a couple songs, the highly talented guitarist known as “Cuvie” popped out with his vile-sounding riffs and instantaneously brought the energy of the room to a new level. Throughout the show, the connection between artist and audience remained undeniable and stayed high-pressure throughout the entire show until its conclusion.
